More Modernist Madness...

Over the past couple of weeks, whilst I have been trying to find employment in my field (and being ultimately unsuccessful thus far) I have not been letting my design skills lapse - and have been putting them to good use designing some more modernist-inspired buildings.

This one features three sort of box capsule things; the one on the left is the living room, the one on the right contains the kitchen and dining area and the one on the top contains a bedroom and bathroom. The bottom two capsules are linked by a bridge over a small water feature. Lovely!

Back side...
With this one, the lower capsule contains the living, kitchen and dining areas, and the top capsule contains the bathroom and bedroom. I'm not sure I like this one much, mostly owing to the fact that the space under the higher capsule is too low to be a functional area (like a carport). That was poor planning on my part.

I made this one with the intent to purchase. I think this is probably the most successful of the last three modernist-inspired designs. This one has quite a lot of space given that it is only on a 16 x 32 baseplate. The ground floor as a kitchen, dining and living space, and the top floor has a bathroom and bedroom. I really want to buy this model, but I think it's going to be a little while before I can make that happen. Ah well :/

The last model I designed was this one.

If this one looks a little weird, it was originally going to be both sides of a residence (ie two semi-detached houses), but I ran out of time and decided that I would just go with one side.
Over three floors, the house contains:
Ground Floor: Living area, kitchen, dining area and downstairs loo.
First Floor: Two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Second Floor: Three bedrooms and a bathroom.

That's all for now.
